This exciting wine is a hybrid cross of Riesling and Cayuga developed by Cornell, and finally named Aravelle. This is aromatic and fruity with peach, apricot, fruit salad with herbs like sage. The palate is semi dry, rich and ripe fruited. There is peach, nectarine, apricot, mango, glazed tropical fruit and ginger. This bright wine has a little creaminess and would be excellent with spicy Asian fare that has some savoriness.
