Aromas of cherry, strawberry, raspberry, and light earth unfold from the glass. On the palate, fruit flavors of cherry, raspberry and red plum mingle with a light herbal note. The wine is medium-bodied, nicely ripe and slightly rounded, yet clean, pure and fresh. It’s particularly refreshing for summer sipping!

While molinara is no longer mandatory in the blend, it is prized here for its capacity to impart freshness. This said, it detracts from colour and was not popular during the bold era of the 90's textbook freshness. Sour red mountain fruit doused with mint, bitter herb and anise. There is a crunchy sense of compression to the wine, too, thanks to the peppery tannins sewing up the seams. Delicious drinking. Drink now.
